The picture quality should be better with a bigger lens, and they also have a mayor flash. This model immediately impressed me because it was heavy, not enough to weigh your pocket down, but indicates a solid build. To operate, charge the battery with the supplied charger, load a memory card (not supplied but these days very cheap) and press the button.
The manual is very thick, but on inspection is a very calzoncillo multilingual introduction; you have to download the full version that struggled like heck on my laptop. Fortunately, most functions are intuitive and you can work out most settings from the camera. I found the P mode was sufficient for most shots, like the EOS counterpart. For indoor shots, pressing the flash button releases the pop up flash. This is the only way they could fit a flash because the lens and surrounding mechanism takes up most of the front on what is in reality a very small camera.
Two settings to consider are ISO, where I prefer the lowest, 80, as long as there is enough light; and the compression where I use the super fine image setting. This generas the best jpeg quality but with larger files. For treinta y dos gig cards and above this will not be a problem, and you can always edit them before sharing.
The zoom operates smoothly, and you can have both optical and digital as estándar for compact cameras, the display is bright with a large screen, not touch, but the controls will allow you to navigate and manipulate the images. As a concession to the móvil and tablet era, you can send pictures to your device using the downloaded aplicación. For this you need to connect to your Wifi.
So the most important aspect of any camera is picture quality. The few shots I have taken have been very impressive, giving my EOS 650D a run for its money. Indoor pictures with the flash are correctly exposed, and available light ones are good too given the higher ISO setting. This is all in a camera small enough to take on your travels when you regalo’t want to lug an SLR around.

Opinión de un comprador: Buscaba una sustituta a mi vieja G11, yo me encuentro enamorado con esto ya que los controles manuales y el edificio son buenísimos, además de la calidad de la imagen. Pero ésta flamante tipo no proporciona considerablemente más calidad de imagen que una cámara del dos mil nueve (mi G11), obtuve múltiples pruebas para mirar las aberraciones cromáticas, el ruído y la optica. Esta G9X es buena, pero no es bastante mejor que una vieja G11.
Se agradece la persiana tactil, el flash retractil y el disco de mando, excelente calidad de imágen, excelente optica y muy pequeñita.
La devolví, alargaré la existencia de mi G11 hasta que caricia renovarla.

Opinión de un comprador: Recent purchase to take on holiday and used extensively. The camera is easy to use and the screen is large. Picture clarity is very good as is the zoom. I wanted something I could just pick up and shoot and we spent a lot of time researching what camera to buy. I am delighted with the one we chose. It has plenty of options regarding use, so not just for someone like me who wanted to keep it fácil.

Opinión de un comprador: Estaba buscando una cámara de vídeo de volumen medio pero con bastante calidad en imágenes con poca claridad, prácticamente en interiores. Me encuentro muy contento pues es precisamente lo que requeria. Por si fuera poco la calidad del video es también muy bueno.
Se la aconsejo a las que busquen una pieza de calidad para toda clase de ocasiones, sobre todo para interiores sin flash.

Opinión de un comprador: The SX740HS is the latest is a line of compact cameras from canon. It’s aimed at the ocasional photographer who is perhaps limited by using their phone and wants additional functionality and the ability to zoom. The headline features are the huge 40x zum and the 4K video recording so I’m going to focus on them.
On opening the box you are first presented with a typically chunky canon manual, but this turns out to be a just a handful of Quick Start pages in veinti seis different languages. The full manual has to be downloaded from the canon website. How you may feel about this will vary but the lista system in the camera is quite helpful, assuming you have some previous experience with cameras. Apart from the camera itself, the box also holds a battery charger (plus battery), mains lead for the latter and a wrist strap.
The camera is not exactly heavy but it’s not light either, thanks to the lens assembly, which retracts flush into the body when it’s turned off. The first thing I noticed was that it’s quite hard to hold if you have large hands or long fingers. There is a small grip on the front and a smaller thumb grip on the back. When your thumb is on the latter, it covers the controls underneath so moving your thumb to push buttons or turn the mando dial means you need to use your other hand to hold it.
I found myself regularly touching the rear screen while attempting to hold it comfortably. This is especially important when using the zoom, as holding the camera still becomes vital. The wrist strap provides some additional security but doesn’t adjust to tighten so can easily slip off. As a pocketable camera, it will fit in a jacket pocket easily but is probably too big for trousers and too heavy for a shirt.
Turning the camera on results in the lens extending smoothly to its base position. The 40x zoom equates to veinticuatro-960mm in 35mm terms which (to an enthusiast like me) is amazing. I had quite a fun time comparing pictures taken at the extremes. The maximum zoom does allow you to pick out things you might not otherwise have been able to refleje and that’s probably the best attitude to have towards it. By that I mean that images at the 960mm end are somewhat soft and lack contrast.
The contrast issue can be fixed quite easily with programa but you can’t add detail back and the camera can only generate JPEGs so the amount of fixing in programa is limited. Check out the attached images of the pigeon and the moon. The moon was captured hand-held - in itself pretty amazing - and demonstrates the reach of the lens. At 960mm the minimum aperture is f6.9 which on anything other than a sunny day means a slow shutter speed and blur unless the camera bumps up the ISO, which on full auto it did regularly, adding to the softness. There is image stabilisation but it struggles at this concéntrico length.
At the other distinga, the 28mm gives nice contrasty and detailed images. As a walk-around camera for holiday photos this should provide some very nice pictures in a wide range of situations. Given how conocido selfies are the LCD flips up to face you so you can compose the image properly but at arms length you will need to zoom out to fit yourself and another person in. This espectáculos up the distortion in the lens as noses and anything else nearer the camera are accentuated, more so than a phone camera.
The lens focuses down to 1cm, which is useful for macro but I found some issues with the focus area. In the first image of the pencil I couldn't get it to focus on the tip. I got around this by recomposing so that the tip was on the same plane as the focus point.
The video function is pack to full HD by default with 4K 30fps an optional setting in the menu. Not surprisingly, 4K videos take a huge amount of space: I recorded a brief quince second snippet of video, which became a 220MB MP4 file on the card. If you proyecto to use this feature a lot then make sure you have a supply of SD cards and I would suggest SDXC. Personally I think 4K recording on a camera like this is a marketing gimmick as the quality of video is dependant on the lens primarily, followed by the sensor. If the light is not good the ISO will bump up so regalo’t expect to refleje video anywhere near the quality of an SLR or dedicated camcorder. Full HD video is the default for a reason.
Overall, it’s a good quality compact camera for the non-enthusiast who travels or wants a pocketable camera that can be ready for most eventualities. Images can easily be sent to a phone over wi-fi or bluetooth for quick sharing and at reasonable sizes are perfectly acceptable. On the other hand if 4K video shooting is important to you, look for something more dedicated. Or, if you’re an enthusiast thinking that this is a budget substitute for an distinga telephoto (which had occurred to me) then think of it as better than missing the shot but not a substitute for quality.

Opinión de un comprador: No voy a evaluar la cámara que tiene bastante buena mota, forma y parece que buene levantamiento. Lo que es una verguenza es que el paquete venga abierto, la camara usada, con huellas digitales en la barrera y mas todavía después de observarla detenidamente, tiene pequeños impactos en el anillo del propósito con faltas de obra y alguna falta más en la base del cuerpo también. Sorprendente todo esto teniendo presente que la comunican como flamante y lo que pase, vamos una falta de todo. .. Devuelta de inmediato y esperando. .. .

Opinión de un comprador: Me ha enamorado producto. Si no tenéis demasiada iniciativa de foto (experto) es idónea para comenzar. Por si fuera poco me está gustando por que es muy amanosa y no es tan ostentosa como una réflex. Me está gustando mucho la tarea de trasladar fotos por wifi por medio del cámara canon Connect.
Pensaba que la calidad de las fotos iba a resultar peor pero me sorprendió favorablemente.
Echo en falta que venga con cubierta y con cinturón para el cuello, ahora ya que debes buscarlas por fuera porque no vienen incluidos.
La única aspecto contrario que le americano es que si mientras grabas un vídeo usas el zoom, luego se escucha algo de ruido.

Opinión de un comprador: Les imatges es veuen amb menys nitidesa o definició que altres canons més antigues que tinc, de diez i 12 megapíxels.
L'únic motiu pel que no em penedeixo d'haver-la comprat és pel seu llarg zoom que es pot portar a la butxaca, i que permet fotografiar animalets o altres coses a os que no és possible arrimar-se. Així i tot caldrà reparar les imatges amb algún programa per a realçar os vores.
Si s'debe fer servir especialment el zoom, podria merèixer 4 estrelles. Com a càmera d'ús general només en mereix dues.
Amb l'ajuda del Gimp es poden pal·liar els inconvenients i os imatges no queden perfectes, però queden agradables de veure. Els jpeg que treu la càmera són "pesats" i donen bastant marge de entrenamiento.
